The Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design has been a voice for the L.A. design community for close to thirty years. Our 2016 Online Auction celebrates our unique history. We’ve curated an exciting collection of more than 80 items by LA Forum’s collaborators, members, friends, fans, advisors, and alumni.
Bid now on a collection that captures the breadth of the creative spirit in Los Angeles and celebrates its distinct creative vision through architectural drawings, prints and paintings, photography, objects and models, autographed books, and architectural experiences.
Bidding is easy through our auction website or via text messaging.
Visit http://lafaud16.auction-bid.org to sign up and start your collection.
Walk away with an original Neil Denari or Lorcan O’Herlihy sketch or a drawing by one of L.A.’s emerging architects and artists. Bid on prints by photographers Wayne Thom and Lane Barden. Snag an autographed book by Frank Gehry, Aaron Betsky, or Barbara Bestor.
Architectural experiences include a private party on the rooftop of the VDL Neutra House overlooking the Silverlake reservoir and a weekend in Palm Springs for Desert X. Or, dive into an afternoon of groundbreaking virtual reality experiences with cutting edge producers and designers.
Your bid directly helps our ongoing programming as an independent non-profit organization. With your support we’ll continue to instigate dialogues on design and the built environment through public events, exhibitions, and publications.
The 2016 Online Auction goes live at noon on Friday, October 28 and closes November 13 at 9:00 pm. You can bid at any time during the auction and will be notified via text or email when you’ve been outbid or when new items are added to the collection.
Come view the works in person at our Open House.
Sunday, November 6, 3-7:00 p.m. at Lehrer Architects in Silver Lake.
Drop in and join others from the LA Forum’s community of supporters, members, advisors and auction item artists, architects and donors. It is a great opportunity to see the items you are bidding on live and maybe fall in love with something else.
