Thank you to all of who attended ForumFest 2011 on Saturday, April 2nd, supporting the LA Forum and renewing your membership! Festivities for 300 people flowed inside and out of St. Thomas the Apostle School with dumplings and pie, under the stars with only a bit of April mist in the air. It was a successful night of book and portfolio auctions, oral history recordings, and just plain catching up with friends.

Thanks to Deborah Murphy and John Kaliski for sharing their memories of John Chase and helping to announce the new John Chase Memorial Fund. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be going toward the Fund and will be put to use in creating a graphic and anecdotal mapping of John Chase’s influence on Los Angeles. This map will be distributed at a walking tour hosted by deLab and DnA on what would be John’s 58th birthday next month. Save the date, May 21st for the John Chase Walking Tour.

We have an exciting year ahead and simply could not put on our programming without your support and the help of all our sponsors, supporters and volunteers.

Please accept our gratitude!
