We are proud to share the news that the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced that Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design is a 2014 recipient of a NEA Art Works grant.
This grant will support the LA Forum Reader, a forthcoming collection of the best writing from over 25 years of Forum publications from 1987 to the present. The anthology’s publication benefits from the support of the NEA as well as a 2013 grant from the Graham Foundation.
The NEA’s Art Works grants support the creation of art that meets the highest standards of excellence, public engagement with diverse and excellent art, lifelong learning in the arts, and enhancement of the livability of communities through the arts. The NEA received 1,515 eligible applications under the Art Works category, requesting more than $76 million in funding; of those applications, 886 have been recommended for grants for a total of $25.8 million. For more information about the Art Works grants, refer to the NEA website.
