Dingbat 2.0 Exhibition
EXHIBITION HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH AUGUST 14TH, 2010
The Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design presents the Dingbat 2.0 Exhibition, featuring winning and selected entries from the recently completed Dingbat 2.0 Housing Competition, which challenged architects and designers to reconsider Los Angeles’ ubiquitous ‘dingbat’ apartment building for the 21st century.

On the Map:  HABITATION – First Event – Harper West Hollywood by WorkPlays studio*architecture
Talk/Tour led by: Ric Abramson
This project mixes historic and new structures as it preserves a landmarked apartment courtyard, renovates 1920s structures for new affordable units, and wraps two sides of the site with 32 market-rate units in a mix of flats, lofts and townhouses.
Admission to lectures/site visit is free to LA Forum Members, $10 for non-members for each event.  Memberships available for purchase at each event.
