A Picture is Worth 500 Words
2330 Ripple Street, Los Angeles, CA
March 15, 2014, open 6:30pm to 10pm
Reading at 7:30pm
For one night, a pop-up entitled ‘A Picture is Worth 500 Words’, will feature five architects/artists and six writers who will read within a warehouse in Frogtown (by the intersection of the 1-5 and 2 freeways). Each writer received an image from a participating architect/artist, with an assignment of interpreting it in no more than 500 words. Each story will inspire the artist and audience to rethink visual context and relationships. It is a dialogue between art, space and storytelling. Curated by Martina Dolejsova and J.Ryan Stradal.
